Stavros Olympios, who was born in Piraeus, studied engineering at the University of Glasgow (Scotland), the University of Birmingham (England), and the University of Brussels (Belgium). He also holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. Olympios spent his career in the aerospace industry, working at Hughes Helicopter and Northrop Grumman Corporation. His wife, Annemarie, worked for Pan American World Airlines. They have one daughter, Alexandra, who works for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
