The Center’s seminar room houses multiple book collections that are used for teaching and research:
Charlie and Maria Kyriacou Collection
The Charlie and Maria Kyriacou Collection contains approx. 400 books focused on Greek folklore and ethnography, dance and costume, and Greek history from the ancient to the modern period. The collection was generously donated to the Center in 2019.
Constantine and Koren Christofides Collection of Modern Greek Poetry
The holdings of this extensive collection include several works by such major poets as Constantine P. Cavafy, Angelos Sikelianos, George Seferis, Yannis Ritsos and Odysseas Elytis, many of them in rare editions. The collection was assembled by Constantine Christofides and donated to the Center by Koren Christofides in 2021.
The Center’s additional holdings include books on Greek art and antiquities, exhibition catalogs, cooking, artists and art collections, fiction and non-fiction.
