Sotiris Masmanidis is a professor in the Department of Neurobiology at UCLA. His laboratory investigates the neural circuit mechanisms underlying reinforcement learning and movement. The lab’s work spans both fundamental principles of brain function and the study of aberrant motor function in models of Parkinson’s disease.
