In collaboration with the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, UCLA honors its alumnus, Tassos Boulmetis, with the West Coast premiere and celebration of 1968, the story of how A.E.K., the well-known Greek basketball team founded in 1924 by refugees from Constantinople, after 44 years, beat SLAVIA of Prague to win the European Cup. The screening will be followed by Q & A with the director and a reception to honor his achievement.
