Under the fog of war during World War 1, the genocide of the Greeks was carried out at the hands of the Ottoman and Nationalist Turks. This Genocide became the model for all Genocides to follow, Nearly a million Greeks were killed, and millions more were uprooted as part of the Ottoman and Nationalist Turks’ campaign of ethnic cleansing. Lethal Nationalism explores this dark chapter of history.

The screening will be followed by Q & A with the film’s director and co-producer Peter Lambrinatos, co-producer Spiro Lambrinatos, and George Mavropoulos, President of the Asia Minor and Pontos Hellenic Research Center. Opening remarks will be offered by the Consul General of Greece in Los Angeles, the Honorable Ioannis Stamatekos.
