Spyros Kizis, “PAPADOPOULOS 100: Exhibiting a Century of Greek Entrepreneurship and Taste.”
2022 marks one hundred full years in operation for the biscuit and food manufacturing company E.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A. Through the items of the Historical Archive of the PAPADOPOULOU Company—one of the most complete and best-organized archives of a Greek company—the Benaki Museum presents for the first time all the important aspects of the hundred-year history and action of one of the largest Greek companies in the field of nutrition. This lecture highlights the ingredients in this hundred-years success: the history of the company, how its products are made, and the importance of its brand. This is the story of the Papadopoulos family, who for a century has been holding the reins of this Greek industry. The exhibition was curated by Erato Koutsoudaki, architect-museologist, and Spyros Kizis, product and interior designer.
Spyros Kizis was born in Athens in 1986. He earned his diploma in Product and Systems Design Engineering from the University of the Aegean – DPSD in 2011.
