This conference examines Greece’s interactions with the East and West, examining Ancient Roots and Influences, Byzantine Spaces and Sounds, Memory and Diachronicity, and Modern Society and Relations. By bringing together diverse perspectives, the conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue on how Greece has engaged with different cultures, regions, and historical contexts over time. The conference will provide an opportunity for students to present their work to an interdisciplinary audience and to participate in a discussion that seeks to create stronger ties between students and scholars.
